Why I built this site
Hello, my name is Joe Paul and I’ve been a Solopreneur for over 20 years. For most of that time, I’ve worked on various projects with little or no outside help. As a consequence, I’ve learned and tested many time management and productivity techniques with the intent of improving my own performance.
As a solo worker I felt the urge to study many facets of personal performance such as Motivation, Time Management, Effective Writing, Goal-Setting, Sales and Marketing. The primary reason for this site is to offer insights, tips, and techniques as they apply to the Solopreneur, or anyone who makes their living working on their own.
I wanted to overcome procrastination, plan and organize my time better, and work more efficiently so I could have more free time. I began a diligent study of others who were more successful at these skills.
The important word to notice is “skills”.
From my own studies on success, time management, personal productivity, and other self development topics, I’ve come to understand that these “skills” are learnable and can be used by anyone. The techniques and methods of personal productivity are simple and easy to comprehend but not always simple and easy to implement. That’s because previous habits have a way of sabotaging new ones. I can show you how to fix that.
A personal productivity road map is essential to anyone who works on their own. My goal is to provide a complete and comprehensive resource that looks at the essential skills you’ll need to increase your own output. You’ll discover actionable steps that you can use everyday to help you achieve your own goals. Apply the knowledge found on these pages and make a commitment to make them your habit.
